A few of my roomates for some reason like to leave the kitchen window open... they must forget that we live in the middle of London and there are pigeons everywhere.
I went into the kitchen to find feathers not only on the floor but on the counter and bird poop on the counter... Gross!!!
Someone jumped in front of the train at the Tube Station today. Luckily, the driver stopped fast enough that it didn't hit the man. VERY SCARY!!!
We went to Harrods! Talk about incredible! We spent three hours in there just looking at everything we couldn't afford and getting lost. They have a sale once a year and we were lucky to be there during the sale. Here is some sale items we found: Dior dress 50% off which equaled 2000 pounds, flat screen television 16,000 pounds, handbag 1,000 pounds, the best thing was a hat about the size of a bowl was 6,000 pounds (3000 dollars) on clearance. However, I got REALLY lucky today. I was looking at a rack of clothes and turned around and this gorgeous purse was laying on a table and I immediately fell in love and almost didn't let myself look at the price tag because I knew it would just be pure torture. Well it was like 90% of the normal cost!!! Still expensive but I thought when else will I ever buy a purse at Harrods! So I bought it, it is my splurge for this trip! :)
No pictures today... there was no way to get a picture of Harrods because it takes up a whole block and there is a large building across the street, which made us unable to get a picture. And no pictures are allowed inside... I tried that one and got yelled at. :)
Only 6 full days left in London... I am going to go exploring every free second I have so I can see everything this week!!!
