Busy, busy, busy...

Pictures: Westminster, the chairs we paid to sit on, Princess Diana Memorial Fountain, Buckingham Palace, changing of the guard, the carriage, at Madame Tussauds. (Daddy, JoeJoe, Judd, and Sassy the picture with Obama I purposly put that on here for you! I knew you'd all appreciate it! haha) (Mom, like my new skirt?)
I am quite scared, I was writing an email and realized as I was writing it that I was thinking in a British accent! I've only been here a week, that is a little scary! Lets pray that I don't come home with an accent! lol

I love the lifestyle here! It is so laid back and relaxing. I really should live in a place like this, it would calm me down from my usual "always have to be busy" self...

So I've had a really busy two days!!!

Yesterday I went to Madame Tussuad's Wax Museum! It was AMAZING! It was one of the coolest things I've ever experienced... We then went to the British Museum, which was okay. I'm not a big history person so it would be neat if someone really loved history. Then we went SHOPPING on Oxford Street. They have the cutest clothes! I've only bought two skirts though because things are so expensive!!! And actually I decided I am not going to Lion King, for a bad seat it was 50 pounds, almost 85 dollars! I could not let myself spend that much, it would've made me feel guilty the entire time I was watching the play.

Today we decided to cover all the "big" sites. We went to Buckingham Palace and saw the changing of the guard! And the coolest thing about that is there were 5 carriages that left the Palace when we were there and we couldn't see in the windows but they said either the Queen or Charles was probably in there!!!

We then went to St. James Park which was right by the Palace. We decided we should get a hot dog considering it was 4th of July. There are seats all over the parks in London, not benches like almost seats you sit on at the beach. So we decided to sit and eat our hot dog, as we were in the middle of eating this guy came over and said that it cost 1.50 pounds to sit there... we weren't sure if it was a scam or not so we paid. I just looked it up because I was worried it was a scam but sure enough you pay to sit in the seats!

We then toured Westminter Abbey (Princess Diana's funeral was here)!!! It was GORGEOUS! I couldn't take pictures inside but it was breathtaking. We went to Big Ben again... every time I look at it I don't think its real. The pictures can't even put it into words... I could stare at it for hours. I think I've taken like 20 pictures of it! lol

We then went to Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and the PRINCESS DIANA Memorial!!!

We tried to go celebrate the 4th of July at this big square downtown that was supposed to have American food and music... turned out to be a Gay Pride festival... Kind of a bummer

I was going to try to go to Wimbledon tomorrow but I'd have to get there at 6 am to TRY and get a ticket for the loser bracket finals... I'm wondering if its worth it....

Tomorrow I'm going to Harrods and then studying...
Oh, I saw someone almost get mugged today in the Tube. This boy my age was trying to mug this middle aged man and the man caught him and had him in headlock and the police were all running. It was a little scary!

Update: my hair is better but still looks like I was electrocuted... : )
